Terms of Service

1. License Agreement

OptiZeus SCADA (“Software”) is licensed, not sold. By installing, copying, or using the Software, you agree to be bound by these terms. OptiZeus grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited license to use the Software in accordance with these terms and the tier purchased.

2. License Restrictions

You may not:

• Modify, reverse engineer, decompile, or disassemble the Software
• Rent, lease, or lend the Software to third parties
• Remove any proprietary notices or labels from the Software
• Use the Software for unlawful purposes
• Transfer your license to another machine without deactivation

3. Hardware Binding

License files are bound to specific hardware identifiers. Each license is valid for a single machine. To transfer a license to a different machine, you must first deactivate the existing license and request a new license file.

4. Subscription Terms

Paid licenses are annual subscriptions. Your subscription will auto-renew unless cancelled at least 30 days before the renewal date. Prices may change with 60 days' notice before renewal.

5. Disclaimer of Warranty

THE SOFTWARE IS PROVIDED “AS IS” WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. OPTIZEUS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL BE ERROR-FREE OR UNINTERRUPTED. USE OF THE SOFTWARE IN SAFETY-CRITICAL APPLICATIONS IS AT YOUR OWN RISK.

6. Limitation of Liability

IN NO EVENT SHALL OPTIZEUS BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF THE SOFTWARE. OPTIZEUS'S TOTAL LIABILITY SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT PAID FOR THE LICENSE.
